Menopause: Herbs are effective?

The efficiency of plants in the treatment of menopause.

You can find many products effective in the treatment of menopause. Look out for supplements made from soy and maca. These plants have indeed proved their affirmative action in the treatment of menopause: reducing hot flashes, stabilization of emotional balance, loss of feeling tired.

This two plants help you to find your new balance, both physically, psychologically and sexually. Thanks to this natural treatment of menopause, you feel good again in your body, flourishing!

The postmenopausal women frequently use derivatives of soya, herbs and other alternative treatments to reduce the symptoms of menopause. But these alternative medicines are effective?

Some analyses have evaluated the efficacy and safety of short-term treatments. A total of twenty-nine studies on alternative treatments (herbs, phytoestrogens, traditional medicine, naturopathy, osteopathy…) have been identified.

Twelve of them were for derivatives soy or soy extracts from ten on herbs and seven trials on other treatments.

* Soy appears to have a modest profit on hot flashes but studies do not support the conclusion.

* Preparations isoflavone seem to be less effective than food made from soybean.

* The black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa), a herb used by American Indians and now prepared by a pharmaceutical company, could be effective in treating menopausal symptoms, especially hot flashes. However, there is a lack of long-term data on his job security (particularly estrogen stimulation of the breast or endometrial). It can not be for the time being recommended for use in the long term.

* Clinical studies show that isolated other Chinese herbs, vitamin E or acupuncture did not affect hot flashes.

black cohosh and foods containing phytoestrogens appear to improve menopausal symptoms in these trials, but there are no studies showing the effectiveness of the herbs or other alternative treatments. For all these products, data from long-term security is not available.
